At Coastal Rehab, our Occupational Therapists have the right skill set and experience to assess workplaces, improve injury management, consult on issues of current employee injury risk, and to assist in the prevention of workplace accidents. Unfortunately, unexpected work absenteeism is a major problem in Australia. The challenges of an aging workforce, physical or psychological disability, and the increasing prevalence of chronic conditions can be bewildering for employers who need to “just get on with the job”.

How We Help Employers

By assisting injured employees to stay or return to work

We help employees affected by physical, cognitive, and/or emotional barriers to return to their previous position, or to another opportunity more suited to their abilities.

Successful team work with the client, employer and treatment team allows us to make practical recommendations for a graded return to work program. We do this by assessing the client, analysing the job demands and liaising with other health providers and the employer.
